Rena Sherel SOFER
Rena Sherel SOFER is an American
actress. Her roles include daytime TV guests, occasional guest performances and
television-friendly films. Sofer was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 in
her role as Lois Cerullo on the soap drama General Hospital. She has been
acting as Quinn Fuller since 2013 on CBS the soap production The Bold and The
Beautiful. Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer,
a psychology professor, and Martin Sofer, a Conservative rabbi. Her family then
moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, until the time of divorce from her
parents,[citation required] she moved with her brother and father David to
Teaneck, New Jersey, in the year 1970. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when
Sofer was five years old. The family was based in Ambridge Pennsylvania where
their father was director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the
Frisch School, a coeducational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus,
New Jersey. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was the
rabbi of Temple Beth El. After graduating from North Bergen High School in
1998, she continued her education at Montclair State College. Sofer was the
first person to be a Lois Marie Cerullo at General Hospital. In 1993, she was
the manager of the band. However, her first role was in the role of Rocky
McKenzie in the daytime soap show Loving (1988-91). Her most famous role is her
part on General Hospital as Lois Cerullo (December 15, 1993 – September 24
1996). She was later a guest star on the show (February 7-17, 1997 September
30th to October 2nd , 1997). Sofer was presented with an Daytime Emmy Award
1995 for Outstanding Supporting Artistress in Drama Series for her role as
Lois. In May 2013 the announcement was made that Sofer was set to join the CBS
soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful as a new role as Quinn Fuller; her first
episode aired on July 12. Sofer has appeared on several popular prime-time
television shows in a supporting cast member or guest star role: Seinfeld,
Melrose Place, The Chronicle, Ed, Friends, Spin City, Blind Justice, Ghost
Whisperer, 24, NCIS, and Two and a Half Men.
