Genesis Rodriguez was conceived in
Miami, Florida. She is the daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez the famous
Venezuelan actor and singer and Carolina Perez, a Cuban model. She has two
half-sisters. She studied at the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami.
Rodriguez realized as a child she wanted to be an actor. She attended summer
courses at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and continued her
acting training. She soon became successful and was offered roles in Spanish
language shows like Prisionera (2004) and Dame Chocolate (2007). Also, she was
a part of the hit television series "Entourage" (2004). Man on a
Ledge (2012), and What to Expect when you're expecting (2012) are a couple
films she has worked on. The daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez.
Half-sister to Liliana Rodriguez, Lilibeth Morillo. She mentioned on the The
Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (2005) 9 January episode. she was named
Genesis after the British rock group Genesis. She has Cuban and Venezuelan ancestral
ancestry. The best thing is being in the ocean. If acting doesn't work out I'd
be happy to send my resume to NBA.com. I am a big basketball fan. . . I'll talk
about all kinds of trash. It seems like I'm a representative of the new
generation of Latinos, bilingual, bicultural people. I'm aware that can't eat
whatever I like or do what I want. I have to work to get it. I give credit to
Pilates as well as my parents' good genes. One of the best bonding activities
is making your self look silly and sharing it on the internet. I really like
the people who take risks. Risk-taking people on carpets are my favorite.
Charlize Thon is one of my favorites. I think she's elegant and sophisticated
also. I love Zoe Saldana.
