Piper Perabo
Piper Perabo has been nominated for the
Golden Globe as a stage or TV actor. She was born in Dallas and raised in New
Jersey. In 2000, she was a part in the role of a breakout character in Coyote
Ugly. Since then she has been in films such as Christopher Nolan's "The
Prestige" with Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, "Because I Said
So" with Diane Keaton and "First Snow" which starred Guy Pearce,
"Cheaper by the Dozen" films with Steve Martin, "Imagine Me
& You" with Lena Heady and Matthew Goode and the crime thriller
"10th and Wolf" featuring an ensemble cast which included James
Marsden and Dennis Hopper. She starred alongside Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon
Levitt, Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels in Rian Johnson's sci-fi action flick
"Looper.". In television Perabo was a part of Annie Walker in all 5
seasons of USA Network's spy drama "Covert Affairs." Then she starred
as a co-star in ABC's legal drama "Notorious. It is also possible to watch
"Turn Up Charlie" on Netflix with IdrisElba. Perabo also made her Broadway
debut in Neil LaBute’s controversial production "Reasons to be
Pretty", for which she was nominated for the Tony Award for the Best Play.
Outside of her acting on stage and screen, Perabo is also an activist. Perabo
has been an International Rescue Committee Voice to raise awareness and assist
those affected by war, persecution or oppression from the political. Piper
lives in Los Angeles, New York City. She graduated from Toms River (NJ) High
School North class of 1994. She was in the four annual musicals she attended
during high school. In her senior year, she played Katie in Me in St. Louis,
junior year she played Cousin Fan as well as Lady Brighton in Mame; the
sophomore year was Lady Brighton and Lady Brighton respectively; and freshman
year she was a dancer and choreographer in How to Succeed In Business Without
Really Trying. In high school, she served as the president of the National
Honor Society and the editor of the school literary journal, Polaris. As a
dancer in the show in the field she was a member of the Marinerettes during
high school.
